HDTV Ratings: September 14
Underbelly NZ: Land of the Long Green Cloud continues to sink beneath the ratings radar.
Last night’s episode — the fifth of six — rated fewer than 5% of the TV3’s target audiences, 25-54 and 18-49 year-olds.
It was most popular with TV2’s 18-39 viewers, and household shoppers with kids, but still finished third in those demos after TV2’s Sexy Ads Show and TV One’s Addicted to Food: Sharon’s Story.
Meanwhile, the series TV2 incorrectly billed as being in HD, Hot in Cleveland, continued that channel’s hot line-up of sitcoms, and rivalled a re-run of The Big Bang Theory as the most-watched show of the night.
It launched opposite TV One’s HD half-hour, What Would You Do?, which not only retained its 25-54 following but drew more of this demo than lead-in Fair Go.
It also out-rated HD lead-out Nothing Trivial, which continued to meander along with ratings of 7.7%-10.5% in the key demos.
Wednesday’s HD ratings winners were (rating > channel share):
